Adapted-July 17th, 2008

Once again, I have kept you all waiting way too long. You have to yell at me to get me motivated. My mind's been in overdrive lately. Buc and I will get married at the end of August and we're in the process of figuring out what to do to celebrate. I'm not one of those people that have been imagining my wedding since birth so we're trying to figure out something different. It is looking like there will be a jam instead of a reception. I've also been working on a new site, and we're starting a remodel on the only bathroom in buc's house so I hope you will cut me some slack on the lack of action on the site. I have managed to adjust nicely to my new bike after some good session last week at TRP and on that note...

There are new ramps again at TRP. Sooch, K10, and the construction locals are doing a fine job at keeping things fresh and giving us all lots of reasons to visit often. The mini is less mini and the spine rhythm is a thing of the past.

My Girrrrl Dee came back for a visit and brought a tear to both our eyes at the reunion. See you at Christmas Dee !!!!!

Todd is a free man.

We went out to a festival in Howell, but our time ended quickly when the hurricane rolled in.

We managed to find a skatepark on the fairgrounds but of course, no bikes allowed. That's ok it doesn't look that fun anyway (except for that hip off in the corner).

Then we found this and we tried to take it but it wouldn't fit in the trunk.

Buc snuck off to a session at the Westland park, a place I still need to ride before summer is out. OMG! is that Jason P. Suchan riding outside of TRP? It is, it is.

Other Westland action...

Now back to TRP...

I'm finishing of the TRP collection with Terry's first day doing lookback airs. It's not fair how good they are and this in one of my favorite pictures of riding ever.

I'm gonna finish up the update on a scenic note. My best friend all the way from grade school, Gina and her husband Adam, invited us out to his family's beach house on Lake Michigan for some much needed relaxation.

Here's the view from the yard. It's been a long time since I have been out the west coast of Michigan and I forgot how nice it is.

It's a long haul down about 200 stair to get to the sand. Adam's grandfather was an engineer so he built this cable car to make it easier, by the end of the weekend we were glad he did.

Here are some other photos from the trip.

Bad Dog!

There is nothing better than a bonfire in the sand. It was an awesome weekend and they are awesome people for letting us come out there and take over their house. The only thing missing was my bike.

Scott Towne is my hero for two major posts in two days, we could learn a lesson.
