november 2007 The New TRP-November 6th, 2007 I just realized that I only did one update for the entire month of October and I am ashamed. If I don't do better this month I give you all permission to snake me every time I try and take a run. First things first...
TRP has new owners. Sooch and Kristin are now the sole proprietors of the park and already making changes. There has been a lot of deconstruction lately but if all goes well there will be at least three new ramps to ride by Saturday. Major changes are underway at TRP and it is more important than ever for you to show your support. Turns out Veteran's Day is this weekend too...how appropriate! Here's the last couple weeks in the life of TRP.
Veterans!
Congrats are in order for Carmickle on the birth of his little girl.
This has become one of buc's favorite photos all time-I've said it before and am saying is again now, Kevin is a beast.
Nate Morshan was in town from California last week and is now atop my list for best tables ever. I will be consulting these photos on a regular basis as a reference and you should too. Some new stuff was built at Hatfield's old trails so buc and friends did a little investigating.
Search for Stewy.
Here's Mr. TRP the last time he was on his bike about two weeks ago. Being a skatepark owner surprisingly means more time with a drill in your hands instead of on the bars. Check back for complete info on the session this Saturday and to see what's new in the park. -Hanan What to Expect-November 8th, 2007 Here's what you can look forward to at TRP, but only if you come to the late session this Saturday night.
TRP finally has a hip-hips in every direction actually. Five Years and Counting-November 19th 2007 Yesterday marked five years of Buc and I as a couple. We celebrated by going out to eat, forgetting a debit card in the atm machine, and then running out of gas on Main St in Royal Oak because I'm cheap and passed 12 gas stations looking for something under $3.20. After we located a gas can we wound up paying $3.19. Geniuses we are. Here is the wrap from the last late session at TRP. Much thanks to everyone who came out and supported Suchan as the new owner. There will likely be a late session at least once month. If the turn out continues TRP will be around for a long time. Check back for info on the December session and let us know if you have any ideas to make them more interesting. First some ridiculousness...
I don't know how Dosh does it, but I'm jealous.
Chris John is missing some teeth thanks to the new wall ride. Suchan thanks everyone for they're business. Smalls says you're welcome, And the supermarket this was stolen from doesn't appreciate any of it. The Warehouse in Lapeer will be having a contest on December 1st. I don't have all the details yet but I'll post them as soon as I know. We will likely be there. Can you believe it's already December, where did '07 go? -Hanan
Danes's Birthday Session-November 26th, 2007 This weeked was pretty uneventful. But we do have one thing to report. This Friday there will be another late session in honor of Dane's 20th Birthday. $5 bucks to get in and ride from 11pm to 2am. The fee for Dane's spankins is included. How can you pass that up?
Yes, I stole that from his myspace. Don't forget the Peanut Butter and Jam uhh Jam this Saturday at Warehouse Saktepark in Lapeer. It should be interesting.
